[Please describe this bug in as much detail as possible so we can replicate & debug this bug]

  1. I moved the same section (copy and paste) from one page to another, usually completely fine, but seems with any Custom CSS added to the class it looks different sometimes when pasted on v1-9-9beta as it’s not displaying in the second instance correctly. I also noticed this with ‘nested’ Custom CSS styles before after pasting, it wasn’t showing them only on one page, but it was fine on the other. When I un-nested them on the second instance, it changed the CSS enough to kick back in it seems.

Here, you can see the section has just been pasted, identical classes. Same classes etc. but looks completely different on the second page:

  1. Just to add to this, when trying to click the image sections/divs it’s very glitchy and I can’t change them -

Temporary work around:

Remove the container class, save the page. Refresh. Re-add the container class, save, refresh. The grid then looks as expected:

It seems similar to the other bugs reported with delays/lags from the database to update content / show it how it really is when in the builder. I have submitted other bugs with facet areas, shortcodes, query loops, changing images and sometimes text, all showing delays or lags at times - sometimes the image flashes when I change it.

This points to a data sync issue from my naĂŻve outlook.

Sorry to keep on this thread, but related, this page had been fine for about 1 hour. Just hopped back into it now, maybe 6 refreshes later, and it rendered it like this again:

Hi Rob,
One request in advance: if you report several problems in one thread (which you shouldn’t actually do), please number them. That way, you always have a concrete point of reference, making the chaos slightly clearer. Also, creating your videos with sound (explaining what you are doing, if possible) would be great too, making it a lot easier to follow.

  1. in your first video, you recorded your second screen so that nothing at all is visible there.

But: Did you intentionally give each image block the same grid-column and row? Since the styles in the CSS follow the custom AT grid builder CSS styles, they override the custom CSS.

If you remove the settings, the images will be placed correctly and your problem may solve itself. If not, unfortunately I need concrete steps (in text or through spoken words in another video) on how to reproduce the problem as easily as possible.

  1. :white_check_mark: This only happens when the custom CSS tab is open. There seems to be something wrong with the calculation of the width.

Best regards,
timmse

Sorry, I will try and keep them numbered. Much of the additions I have been trying to keep related to that thread, as although they are different in physical nature the root of the issue seems related in that it’s a lag/failure to load in what I am seeing in the builder.

Gah you’re right, Jam is not my friend it seems. Having issues with privileges on the mac and it keeps jumping to the other screen, sorry. Yes I can try that sure, hard in the studio unfortunately as it’s quite noisy and there’s music on.

  1. That’s really strange and you’re right about the grids being added, and no I didn’t add those intentionally. They were in fact not added to the source section I copied from (found on Raising a glass to freshly picked brand and marketing assets for quality vineyard - White Space Advertising) or that would have looked the same, so that’s VERY odd. The first video showed me literally copy and pasting the same element from one work page (Raising a glass to freshly picked brand and marketing assets for quality vineyard - White Space Advertising), to the ARC work page, and it was at that point I noticed the layout trouble until refreshing. Upon refreshing and removing/re-adding the class it was then fine again. So that’s most odd.
  2. Really? It seemed to be glitchy for me regardless what I had open, unless I refreshed the whole page and then it was fine for a good few refreshes until it was distorted again.

Thanks for your help

Believe me, “bad” sound is better than no sound at all  Try to follow any video of your choice (a tutorial for example) without sound
I bet that within 30 seconds at the latest you’ll be completely somewhere else (mentally) :exploding_head:

So: I have added issue #2 to the bug tracker. I still can’t reproduce issue #1 - if you find a way to reliably replicate it, please let me know
