I’ve been doing a bunch of formatting work today in the Posts block. I’ve had a couple of odd things happen - will post the other separately.
This one → I decided to delete the Excerpt field, in an Archive template. When I did it still appeared in the (preview) Canvas to the right, as you can see from the screen grab below.
It did appeared correctly (eg excerpt missing) in the front end.
By way of an addendum - when you reload the template editing, the excerpt is initially displayed. But when you click on the block, it then disappears.
