I’m creating a mega menu in the header to show products. In the mega menu, I created a nestable tab loop for the categories. In each pane, I have a secondary loop showing the products for the specified category. Everything works correctly and pulls the right dynamic data, except for the image when it is set as a background for the product card. I believe it is a bug specifically with the dynamic background as the other dynamic elements show the correct information. Anyone else encounter this?
Thank you for your report. Can you please share temporary admin access with a link to this thread at help@bricksbuilder.io so I can take a look at your setup? Alternatively sharing screenshots or a video recording to help me replicate this would be great
I’m not sure what the issue is exactly as it looks like the featured image is being pulled correctly to me? is there something that I’m missing? a screen recording to illustrate the issue would be much appreciated
As you can see, as I move from the Attention category to Caution and Danger, the Title and inside image change, but the product card’s background image itself does not change. I hope that makes it a little more clear.
Thank you so much for the recording I see what you mean now. This indeed seems like a bug (potentially due to the nested loops) and I’ve added this to our internal bug tracker.
Confirming same issue with a query loop and custom made mega menu cards. Applying BG image {featured_img} does not render if the current page is not the CPT.
I just do a loop for a custom post type, and inside that loop, i use a bg image which is featured image. The current post holding the loop has its own featured image. The featured image from the current post shows up on front end. When that same featured image is referred to in an image element directly, the correct image from the loop item shows up - just never when its set as the background image. Background image is pulling featured image reference from current post - its a bug.
