SOLVED: Custom page CSS only gets saved when adding a codeblock on page and deleting that

Browser: Firefox Dev
OS: macOS
URL: (https://blocks.jointlyheroes.dev/layouts/sections/)
Video: Not at the moment

I have a page where I put custom css on the page. It loads in the builder but not outside of the builder. I need to add a Code block and delete that to save the CSS to the front-end. Really weird bug…

Hey @jointlyheroes,

not sure if I understand what you’re saying. Are you using the page settings to add the custom CSS like this?

A small screencast would help trying to reproduce your issue.

Thanks,

Yes here is a screencast

Cannot upload mp4 here

Just want to make the dev team aware that this issue is still present in the builder. And the provided solution of adding a “code” element works as mentioned.

Do let me know if you want further explanation or a recording.

@Akar This page settings “Custom CSS” issue has been fixed in Bricks 1.8: https://bricksbuilder.io/changelog/#7565

Does it work for you with the latest 1.8-beta3?

Which version of Bricks are you using?
