SOLVED: Custom Fonts not working after 1.7.2?

Is Custom Fonts working for 1.7.2? Mine didn’t and all my downloaded fonts are not being reflected on the frontend at all. Had to revert back to 1.7.1.

did you regenerate CSS or flush cache?

Did both, and still the same …

If I revert back to 1.7.1, the custom fonts used will be displayed.

On the default setup, Under Bricks>Settings>Performance>Disable Google Fonts is turned “On”. In 1.7.2, if I turn Off that setting, my custom fonts will be displayed on the frontend.

1.7.1 will display Custom Fonts (Downloaded and saved on the server) on the frontend even when I disable Google Fonts in the backend.

I have the same issue, that custom fonts aren’t shown, always font "serif " is selected.

Should work regardless if Google fonts are disabled or not. Could you reach out to support via email providing temporary admin login details, so we can have a look at your site to replicate and debug the issue?

Same issue for me also

Is this still an issue in Bricks 1.7.3 for anyone? If so, provide us some temporary admin login details to your site, so we can have a look. Thank you.

If you visit “Bricks > Custom fonts” all @font-font rules are automatically re-generated.

Additional note: The original report has already been solved. The cause was a “mixed content” issue, but not related to Bricks.

Hey guys,
I’ve just added a few lines to the known issues Academy article, explaining what causes the issue and how to fix it.

If your custom fonts are not displayed in the frontend, it is probably because your WordPress website is delivered via HTTPS, but your WordPress URLs are still set to HTTP (WordPress Settings » General).

Changing the WordPress URLs from http:// to https:// will fix the problem and your fonts will be displayed correctly from now on.
