SOLVED: Custom Fonts - FOUT?

I recently disabled Google fonts and uploaded some custom fonts. Now I get a delay when the fonts are loading and a so called flash of unstyled text.

I thought I recalled a video Thomas did on FOUT, like a year ago maybe where he clicked on an option in or showed an option that would take care of this issue but that button no longer exists in settings.

How is everyone managing the FOUT when using custom fonts?

Did you manage to sort this out? I am experiencing the same issue.

I simply gave up and used browser fonts

Turn on the ‘Webfont loading method’ under Settings → Performance. It will be set to loading via stylesheets by default.

Guys try to preload your custom web fonts.

@ted I could not find " ‘Webfont loading method’ under Settings → Performance."

Was it moved after an update?

We’ve added a “Preload custom fonts” setting (Bricks » Settings » Performance) in Bricks 2.0 RC2, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any pre-stable release, please do not use it on a production website. It is intended for testing in a local or staging environment only.
