Hi,
Thanks so much for your report!
Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce the problem with the current dev version. Please test it again with Bricks 1.5.4, which will be released today.
Best regards,
timmse
Thanks Stefan, yes I will do!
Bricks 1.5.4: Unfortunately the manual (numerical) change of the width on the canvas in the mobile breakpoints still does not work. See video from the initial post.
Update: The bug only occurs if an adjustment was made in the custom breakpoint at builder (width).
Hm, maybe it’s a good idea to send temporary login credentials (and a link to this thread) to help@bricksbuilder.io, as I cannot reproduce the issue
Hey Stefan,
Thanks for taking the time to reply and create a video.
Since the page only exists locally I’ll send you the link to my try.bricksbuilder login via PM.
The bug is very easy to find with activated Custom Breakpoints with the following steps on any page in the builder:
I didn’t add any new breakpoints, I use the bricks standard breakpoints and just changed the ‘Width (Builder)’
In breakpoints settings change the Tablet portrait at ‘Width (Builder)’ to 768
In Mobile portrait change the ‘Width (Builder)’ to 375
Save and close the breakpoint settings and select for example mobile portrait to display
In the canvas now the width of 375px is shown in mobile portrait mode. If you click next in the width field the 375 and enter any value that is within the breakpoint range of the mobile portrait, such as 320 or 390 per example, you can see that the width of the canvas does not change, but only jumps a little to the left. This can also be seen in the code of the page [#bricks-builder-iframe-wrapper] scrennshot
The same is true for the tablet portrait mode. It shows 768, if you just change it to 840 or 880 in the little width field you will see the same effect.
All right, thanks for the detailed explanation! Now I can reproduce the problem
Cool, thanks for your attention
@timmse, great it’s solved in 1.5.5.
@timmse Hi, I am using 1.5.7 and still getting this bug. This is weird. Isn’t it solved? The builder width is fixed to the manual breakpoint setting and the width input on the top cannot override the custom setting.
Hi Kungpeng,
it works fine for me and as it should (Bricks 1.6 Beta 2).
Have you noticed any problems with versions > 1.5.5 @HeroRox ?
Hi @timmse and @frozenwind yes, i found the bug will only there if you set an value in Width (Builder) in the breakpoint setting, per example in the tablet breakpoint. Then the canvas only shows the previously set width at the tablet breakpoint. No matter what you manually enter as a value in the canvas width field afterwards.
Yes. The condition is you set a manual custom builder width in the breakpoint setting. Without a manual width, everything works fine.
I just tested1.6b2 and the issue still exists.
Hi @timmse, I just tested 1.6 final and the issue still exists.
Unfortunately, I still cannot reproduce the problem, regardless of the breakpoint - not even with custom breakpoints
Hi Stefan (@timmse , @frozenwind) thanks for your feedback, really appreciated. Here my steps to reproduce the bug on my end:

Nice weekend
Hey guys, is there an update on this bug? 1.6.2 has not fixed it yet. Thanks!
Hey, Sorry I missed that one, but finally understand what’s going on
I’ve added it again to the bug tracker. Sorry for being slow on the uptake
No worries Stefan and no need to apologize. But thank you for your feedback. I look forward to it when it’s fixed then.
Hi guys,
We’ve finally fixed this bug in Bricks 1.7 beta, now available as a manual download in your Bricks account: Account – Bricks
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
Best regards,
timmse
