SOLVED: CSS input code disappears when renaming classes in 1.8

I’ve had this happen on multiple elements now. When I rename a class, styles written in the CSS box disappear. Upon inspection, it seems to be that “root” is being converted to the actual old class name, thus the styles are not applied to the new class name.

There’s a separate bug with CSS inputs as well. When there’s custom CSS in a class, and you de-select the class, you can still see the custom CSS. You have to leave the CSS input accordion and then come back to it to see it’s either blank, or see the CSS at the ID level.

This works in reverse as well. If there’s custom CSS on any selector and you switch to another selector, you’ll still see the CSS from the previous selector.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks so much for your report!

I was able to reproduce both issues and added them to our bug tracker.
