SOLVED: CSS Filters Broken in Bricks1.9.8

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
In Bricks 1.9.8 CSS filter values do not show in the builder. Screenshot attached.

STEPS TO REPEAT:

  1. Navigate to CSS Filters.
  2. Apply CSS filter by dragging slider or entering numeric value.
  3. Look for numeric value.

EXPECTED RESULT:

  1. Number is shown in for value selected via the slider or entered manually.
  2. Filter renders on the front-end.

ACTUAL RESULT:

  1. Number field in blank in builder.
  2. Filter does render on front-end.

IMPACT:

  1. Issue seems to be cosmetic, within the builder. It does not seem to impact the front-end appearance of a website.

REQUESTED ACTION:

  1. Restore prior functionality. Show values in builder.

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc.

Good catch. I can confirm that on a fresh installation.

Also the variable picker icon in the top right shouldn’t be there probably…

Hi Bret,
Thanks so much for your report!

I reproduced the issue and added it to our bug tracker.

Best regards,
timmse

I can confirm this, but to add they do work, the values just seem to be hidden from view.

Hi guys,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.9 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.
