SOLVED: Critical error after migration

hi guys. first time i have this issue.

after moving a website from a subdomain used for development, templates are not working. no header, footer, or any other templates used. if i try to access the template page inside bricks menu, i got the infamous critical error:

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

i did a backup of the working website before moving it to the new domain, and oddly enough i cannot upload it. i’ve used aio wp migration to create the backup, and when i try to upload it stops between 0.00 and 0,04%.

i didn’t find any post with these two issues combined. i also have limited control on the server, my client is a little… special, and he creates 5 new issues every time he speaks to the namecheap support.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your report!

Would you be so kind as to send the server error logs (which should tell you pretty much exactly what is causing the problem), temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?

Best regards,
timmse

i hate when replies dont arrive in my inbox :grinning:
i solved this, but i really cant remember how. it was about some odd hosting configs that i managed to fix, but yeah, cant remember more. sorry and solved.

No problem. If it is related to the server configuration it is at least not a Bricks bug
