SOLVED: Complete Google Font Families not loading in Bricks Editor

Bricks Version: 1.6
Browser: Microsoft Edge
OS: Windows
URL: (a link to a page that illustrates the issue would be really helpful)

Strange. Whenever I try to select a font family anywhere in the Bricks editor, only about 7 font families are displayed in the dropdown and when i try to search for say Roboto or Poppins they cannot be found.

Hi @hutchatosw

Just to aide in bug fixing and discount the obvious, but have you disabled Google Fonts in Bricks settings in the WordPress dashboard by mistake?

Just checked Michael. I have not disabled Google Fonts in settings.

Hi Hutch,

Thanks for the screenshot that was going to be my next question to see if it was just the system fonts showing.

I did have this issue many moons back when Bricks was first released.

Are you by any chance using HTTP authentication or password protected your site?

P.S. Welcome to the forum by the way

Bingo! I set up a dev site on my flywheel server and had privacy mode turned on which puts the site behind a login. Turned of privacy mode and Viola! You are the man Michael!

Thanks for your help and thanks for the welcome. I am a long time Elementor user and brand new to Bricks Builder. Have committed to learning it in light od recent problems with Elementor. I am already impressed with support. Getting any kind of response on the Elementor Forum is a crapshoot at best and in fact rarely happens in a helpful and meaningful way. So hats off.

No worries at all :+1:

I came from Ele too, and you are gonna uncover some nice little easter eggs with Bricks when you find them and a fair few OMG how good is that moments!

I definitely recommend checking out the academy if you haven’t done so already and also when you have got a bit of time take a look at the changelog from the start, you can get a feel for whats been implemented along the way and a lot of these implementations came from ideas lacking in other builders.

I’l mark the ticket as solved so it saves the devs a little more time to focus on the open tickets :+1:
