SOLVED: Code Editor Full Screen mode is not working as expected

Browser: Chrome 135.0.7049.114
OS: Window

If we write custom CSS in the previous Custom CSS section and then view the full screen mode, there is no problem. In the reverse case, if we write CSS code on full screen, after closing it, there is no code in the previous custom CSS section. Even if we open full screen again, there is no code.

As a minor issue, after scrolling, the variable button icon moves over the modified icon.

Hi @HOSEIN,
The code is still there and applies but is not visible in this case. To see the code we have to press the toggle “CSS” Tab. Then the code will display.

Hi @datgausaigon,

Thanks for pointing this out.

Yes, you are right. But it still seems like there is a problem. Because we need to close and then open the custom css to display the code. So let’s see what the Bricks team thinks about this.

Thanks again

Hi Hosein,
Of course, reopening the custom CSS tab shouldn’t be necessary. I’d call this a classic alpha/beta quirk

Best regards,

Yep, this is an issue you found in Alpha. Glad you caught it :sunglasses:. Let’s find some more bugs :beetle: :beetle: together.

Update: Even if no code is written, just opening the full screen panel will activate the reset button and the Inherited setting indicator.

Hi Hosein,

We fixed this issue in Bricks 2.0 beta, which is now available in your account.
Changelog: Bricks 2.0-beta Changelog – Bricks

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
