I suddenly have lost the ability to use theme styles. Any custom styling I’ve done in the past is gone. Let me explain…
Suddenly—and maybe I’ve done something but I can’t think what—I saw no custom styling on the front end of my site. Default fonts, colours, container widths, button border radius, etc. I went into Bricks settings and saw that the Theme Styles setting was “none”. My Theme Styles setup that I named before (“AINOM”) is still in the list and I can select it. When I do so everything looks styled as it should be.
Great!
Except I then save, refresh the front end, and the default Bricks styles are still there. Worse, if I refresh the editor (hard refresh) the Style is again set to “None”.
I figured out why theme styles were no being saved: the conditions were also reset. I entered the condition it used to have (entire site) and theme styles can be saved.
How they all got suddenly deleted is still a mystery.
Thank you so much for updating this thread.
As we can’t replicate this weird problem, I will mark this thread to “SOLVED” now.
Let us know if you can have a replicate step list for this bug in Bricks and we will check that.
Appreciate your time and sharing.
Hi everyone, I’m reopening this thread because I just encountered the same problem. What I did was update all my plugins, temporarily disable Wordfence, and clear the cache.
If I go into the settings within a Bricks template and select the stylesheet I created, it doesn’t get saved. In fact, if I refresh the page, I have to select it again, but it still doesn’t get saved.
What could have happened?
