I’m testing the new colour manager. I’ve set up a new palette and have added the base colour in hsl format. I wanted to create 2 lighter shades whereby the h and s values are the same as the base and the l value is changed. When you activate lighter shades Bricks by default creates 10 lighter shades based upon some formula. So I set the number of shades to 2 and then tried to edit the first generated shade and manually enter the h, s and l values but Bricks keeps changing these based upon this formula. Surely if I’m editing the shade it should accept all manually entered values and not use a formula as I’m overriding it.
It would be good if somewhere when generating lighter and darker shades, you could fix the h and s values from the base and then Bricks would simply vary the l values for the shades with manual override if required.
I’ve attached a video showing me trying to change the h, s and l values to what I want (230, 28% and 85%) for the first shade. When I’m typing 28 for s, Bricks keeps automatically setting it to 37. Jam
