SOLVED: Bricks Template Bug

I am using the same template on two posts but bricks is not picking the layout settings and fonts correctly.

I have given both URLs below:

Hi Achal,

if I remember your setup correctly, you’ve set up a condition to apply the theme styles to only one post  You can see it of you check the styles with developer tools. There are no theme styles applied to the “Skills to look into…” post. So please change your Theme Style Condition, and you’re good to go.

Best regards,
timmse

I have set up one template and conditions to show this on two posts one post is showing correct and others are not.

Probably this is still related to some kind of caching (Cloudflare), as I said already in the other thread before. You are definitely using Cloudflare CDN, Proxy and SSL and it seems like it takes some time to update. I don’t know if you can force it manually to update.

Btw., why do you limit the condition to two posts only?

It is not a Cloudflare issue, because the template is working on one post and I have cleared all cache in Cloudflare still I am facing the same issue.

CloudFlare assets loading load the same assets on all pages there is no option to include and exclude any page or anything.

I have also changed the condition to load the same template on all posts still the same issue.

Now style switching is not working at all. I have changed many themes it has no effect.

Changing Themes is not working. Please help. Fonts even not working inside the builder.

See image below:

Hello @Achal

I inspect the HTML of both posts and it seems that the template is the same, but the styles are different. Could it be you don’t have the Theme Styles active for your entire site and maybe you are limiting the theme styles to one of the posts?

Hello @luistinygod

Hello,

Thanks, yes template is working fine now. The main issue is theme is not saving.

When I set the theme and save it, then exit and after that open the builder again and template; then the theme is not there it just shows “No Theme” selected.

This is what I am facing now,

I have given video link here: Screen Recording 2021-12-10...

Hi Achal,
I just changed your Theme Styles to “Entire Site,” it got saved and applied.

Again: I don’t know what is going on on your site, but Templates, Conditions, and Theme Styles are working fine for everyone else. I just tried it locally and applied a Theme Style individually, and it worked perfectly fine.

Maybe you can send us your Cloudflare credentials, as we still think the problem is related to your Cloudflare configuration (please answer the last mail from @luistinygod).

Best regards,
timmse

@timmse @luistinygod I have answered the email.

The issue is now when I select a theme for posts it works and when I select another theme for pages it does not work.

This means, at a single time only 1 theme selection is working for the entire site.

I have two templates and two different themes.

Main Post Template - Main Post Theme

Website Pages template - Website Pages Theme

Now, Main Post Template and Main Post Theme is working when I selected condition for posts

But the Website Pages theme is not saved and working.

Yes, with a password reset link to your WordPress installation. I asked for your Cloudflare credentials

After switching some Theme Style and / or Template settings back and forth and saving, it worked for me, I guess.

It seems like you have to force things getting updated on your server by changing randomly some other settings. And as far as we know, this is really only the case with your pages.

Remove the   from the text, and the text will wrap.

@timmse I did not find any   in my author bio. What I notice is that when I put email ID in my author bio text becomes outside the box and when I remove email id from the author bio then the text is fine.

Can you tell me how to fix it? Thanks.

It is fixed now. The email address is one huge string, that caused the overflow because of the non breaking space.

@timmse can you tell me how did you fix it? Many thanks

I removed the non breaking space

Ok I think all issues are solved now.

Hi Achal,

I guess you will have a similar problem again soon because we couldn’t get to the bottom of the problem.

If something similar occurs again, please send us an email directly with login details to your WordPress installation, plus the login details to your Cloudflare account and a short description of the problem.

Have a lovely weekend,
timmse

OK Sure will do that.
