Since 1.7.3 update the dynamic gallery images don’t show the images but the placeholder images.
Hey @mrogaar,
are you working on a regular page or some kind of template? If it is a template (e.g. the single post template) make sure to choose a post for the preview in the builder (under settings > template settings > populate content).
Hi Aslotta,
Sorry, should’ve enabled the preview. However, this won’t fix it ofcourse:
Front end:
Back end:
Note: “Galerij” is just the label, field name is “afbeeldingen”
It does recognise the 9 images, but just puts placeholders…
Hey @mrogaar,
thanks for the update.
Since I can’t reproduce the issue… would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?
Thanks,
André
Thank you André,
I’ve send the login credentials.
Hey @mrogaar,
the problem is related to using the same field name (afbeeldingen) multiple times with different return types (Array vs. ID) in different field groups (Dienst, Footer afbeeldingen, Project). We are aware of this issue – see WIP: Dynamic data calls to ACF relationship field no longer works - #18 by itchycode.
If you do not explicitly need the different return format in the Project field group (which is set to ID) change it back to Array (like in the Dienst and Footer afbeeldingen field groups). If all three return types match the gallery should be shown as expected.
Let me know if that fixes the issue for now.
André
Hi André,
You’re a legend, it works now. Thank you!
Hi Menno,
We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
As with any beta release, please do not use it on any production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local/staging environment.
Best regards,
timmse
This seems to still be the case, I have a lot of bugs with acf gallery field
Please create a new report @Net_Runner , describe your issue in detail and add steps to replicate the issue you’re facing. Then, we can take it from there.
