SOLVED: Bricks creating post revisions when revisions are disabled in wp-config.php

Bricks version 1.3.6

I have post revision disabled. Yet for some reason and post, page or woo product continues to show revisions. While its easy to clean the revisions from the db, this is not a desired behavior and I don’t have this problem with Oxygen, Divi or anything else for that matter. Strange that it would create revisions regardless of the php directive in the wp-config file. I have tested this thoroughly on multiple sites.

Also it keeps revisions on the Bricks template pages, very annoying if you dont need them!

thank you very much for your report! I was able to reproduce the issue for WordPress posts.
I think this is because of a hook we’re using. I’ll talk to the developers to get this fixed

Bricks revisions are a bit different. Please take a look at the Revisions Article in Bricks Academy.

You need to insert the following into your child themes functions.php to disable Bricks Revisions completely:

if ( ! defined( 'BRICKS_MAX_REVISIONS_TO_KEEP' ) ) {
    define( 'BRICKS_MAX_REVISIONS_TO_KEEP', 0 );
}

Doing so will automatically delete all Bricks revisions.
