This issue did not occur in Bricks version 1.8.4. It is new to 1.8.5.
When launching the Bricks editor for a page that has an existing Bricks Image element, the editor will open to a white screen. There is no preceding Bricks splash/loading screen. Bricks is not useable.
When launching the Bricks editor for a page that does not have an existing Bricks Image element, the editor will open. However, it it not possible to upload an image to WordPress via the Bricks image element while Flying Images is active.
When Flying Images is disabled, all Bricks capabilities are restored.

Thanks for your reply. I disabled the plugin. The Flying Images dev is reputable. I’m optimistic that he’ll accommodate. If you need access to a temporary environment to test, please let me know.
