SOLVED: Bricks announcement about Breaking Changes shown to other users than admin

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS
URL: Link to a page that illustrates this issue

As admin I already took care of the announcement about “Breaking Changes”. However,
when another user (other than the admin) logs in to add/work on content he/she is faced with the Bricks Announcement about “Breaking Changes” in the dashboard as well. This creates confusion, and when they press the button “Go to Custom Code” or “Dismiss” they are shown “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

That’s a good catch. We’ll update the admin notice code to display it only for users who can also perform the steps listed in this admin notice.

Hi Eljay,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production or live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.
