OS: macOS.
Priors to Bricks v1.7.1, when assigning a custom tag to an element, the custom tag was rendered properly to the element in the iframe:

But since v1.7.1, even with a custom tag, elements are rendered as divs :

This creates preview problems in the editor with CSS rules targeting specific tags.

As far as I can see, the issue appears with the basic text element only, right?
I’ve added it to our bug tracker. If there are problems with other elements, please let me know.

I haven’t checked them all yet but it seem to be only basic text.

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
As with any beta release, please do not use it on any production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local/staging environment.
