SOLVED: Align center not working on front end of blog post template

I set an image to align center in Gutenberg, but it’s aligning left on the front end. I tried setting Wordpress element to center to see if that would change it. No change. I even tried applying CSS but that didn’t work, either.

I’m using 2.0 Beta. Tested on Chrome and Firefox. Cleared caches. Turned off Cascade. Nothing seems to be working.

Hi @sportyspice,

as far as I see, all images are centred. Which would mean you figured it out, right?

Matej

I added CSS, but I shouldn’t have to. If the image is set to align center in Gutenberg and that’s what’s showing in the HTML but it’s not aligning center, something isn’t right.

Hi @sportyspice,

I agree. I’ve created an internal task for this.

Thanks,
Matej
