SOLVED: Active editing class prevents set "CSS classes" from being rendered in HTML

I’ve found an issue in Bricks when editing styles for a CSS class selector (STYLE) while a class is currently active/selected in the editor.

When an element has a class selected for editing (the class is active in the Style panel), and I switch to the CSS classes field and enter class my manual directly (not a generated class – a manual css like eg. “blockanim-clip-bottom-500-repeat”) thi class is not applied, and not rendered in HTML.

I can replicate the problem and have added it to the internal bug tracker. We will update this thread as soon as it is fixed.

Just out of interest: why are you adding the class down there instead of the class panel?

We fixed this issue in Bricks 2.3, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.
