SOLVED: A link in a round icon makes it square

Bricks Version: 1.4 and previous 1.4rc/rc2
Browser: Chrome 90
OS: Windows
URL: https://rc.pambiusdemo.nl

When I set a link in an icon (social f.i.) the image turns square. Using ‘hidden’ in overflow doesn’t help in this case.

Hi @pzeylstra

I had something similar and believe it could be related. Please find the below link to help

Thanks Michael, indeed ‘overflow hidden’ solves the issue

Unfortunately the problem persist with icons. Overflow hidden doesn’t work in that case. Example in the footer with the Facebook icon: https://rc.pambiusdemo.nl

Hey Pamela,

I am not able to access your page (seems to be an SSL issue) to have a look

That is correct. This website I finished and moved away. I placed a new url in my last reply. I’ll replace the one you followed.

Ah thank you, that is me speed reading haha. I did try the link but you have a coming soon page so I am unable to check your footer and SM icons.

Not sure if it’s only the domain root (homepage) which is protected and other pages are public if you have the link? If so if you could send us a URL of an inner page that would be great

Hey Pamela,
the items don’t have a background-color, only a color. If you add a separate background-color for every item (even it’s the same), it works perfectly fine

Best regards,

Works fine indeed.
