Social Sharing Element Needs A Lot of Improvements

Hello,

I’m building a single post template and needed a social share element, I was surprised with how limited the widget currently is.

I think the element needs the following options:

  • more default skins.
  • icon size control.
  • space between icons control.
  • print option.
  • copy link option.
  • custom color control (per icon) or per group when “default brand color is disabled”.

it would also be nice if something like the OS default share navigator is implemented, especially now that it’s a part of the JS API and is widely adopted by browsers.

Quite true. I am also having issues in shaping the buttons.

for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 there should also be the possibilty to a a title text to the link.
