In grid mode, it’s good to see the variable name when hovering, but it’s also important to see the value itself. In this example, it would be great for the tooltip to show var(--bricks-color-yndfbd) (#293038). Maybe the value could be smaller and/or italicized or something.
Incidentally, the swatches should also have a border that contrasts with the builder background color. This swatch is effectively invisible.
