Should page settings be in the template settings?

Hello bricks team,

When we edit a page with Bricks, the settings only include page settings and theme style, which is fine. But when we edit a template like header, it shows page settings, template settings and theme style. Is it necessary to show page settings here?

Because we are editing a template. In this situation, which page will the changes in page settings be applied to? Is it necessary to have it, or would it be better to have it removed?

You’re right, calling it “Page Settings” for templates is a little confusing. Basically, these settings apply to a template like they would apply to a page.

Say you want to add custom CSS/JS to a template. You can do that under Page Settings. It’s the same as with a page, only this CSS/JS will be applied everywhere the template is.
