Should I use WP Rocket?

Hi everyone,

I bought Bricks as everyone is obviously raving about the speed. My website achieves around 77 score on GTMetrics with Bricks. The speed is incredible though - it’s like I’m hosting the website.

I know that Bricks has a lot of optimization options enabled, so I am wondering if I should install WP Rocket - will it boost my website speed and is it even compatible with Bricks?

I know I could just try and test it instead of posting this - but I want to keep my WordPress installation as clean as possible without any residue files/database tables.

Based on my experience of achieving 99/100 results, I want to tell you the following. Just go to https://pagespeed.web.dev/ and follow the simple instructions.

If your site is not too complex and does not use a lot of animations and other unnecessary things, then you can easily achieve the result.

After you have followed all the recommendations, only then can you use optimization plugins.

I fully agree with clickfusion63.

I don’t use WPRocket anymore and I get a speed score of 99.

I was getting tired of the cache issues with WPRocket and in some tests, my speed score actually went down when using WPRocket.

For me, the only useful tool left with WPRrocket was the database cleaning tool included. But I now use another tool for that and therefore WPRocket is gone for me.

I do use the 2 free speed plugins

and

and I can absolutely recommend these two plugins.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies guys. My client bought WPRocket, but it doesn’t seem to help which is why I asked.

if you have slow hosting or very BIG traffic yeah you may need performance plugin but otherwise no you don’t need it.

bricks is good enough. :100:

stay away from performance plugins !
