SEOPress icon on home page - how?

How do you make the SEOPress V5 icon appear when editing the Home page?

SEOPress V5 installed and basic config done. I now get the SEOpress icon when i edit any page in bricks, except for the home page.
Why would that be? I can’t see any settings that might explain it.

Thanks
Alan

Same here… Strange… Hope someone will figure it out.

You may disable the icon in the setting.

I copy and paste what they commented in their FB group.

Yes by default is on but you can disable it from the settings (Disable the universal SEO metabox / beacon in frontend - SEOPress ) or via a hook (Disable SEO beacon - SEOPress). We’ll also add a new step in the wizard to alert users about this.

*** End ***

Hope it helps.

Thanks. That setting is clear and works ok on all pages that I’ve tested so far except the home page. I have no idea why the homepage is treated any differently. Sadly it is the only page that really needs SEO as all the others are generally restricted content and not publicly viewable.
Waiting to join their FB group so I can ask there.

You’re welcome @alanj !
I’ve no idea what’s going on with them.

Did you join their group?
Here is the link(if you haven’t already): https://facebook.com/groups/772354309794670

Finally got accepted into their FB group and I got an answer to my question.

Sadly the reply was that this is “normal” and that they are working on it. So we need to wait for an SEOPress fix.

Never heard “broken” called “normal” before and I hope that isn’t how they normally operate.

I see. Hope that they will fix it. That isn’t normal. Haha!
