RESOLVED: Repeater Layout Issue

I’m probably missing something here, but I can’t get this layout how I want.

I have a CPT with a repeater in a repeater(3 levels).

I am getting the output as desired, but for the life of me, I can’t get the last column to go vertical vs. horizontally displayed.

I really want it to show just like the ACF layout on the backend, but for whatever reason, it just keeps squishing everything into the last div even though I’ve tried to set it to vertical. And it doesn’t show all the items on the backend, but the front end it does, which isn’t a big deal, but maybe thats part of the issue?

Thanks for any direction.

Lyle

Anyone have thoughts on this? I’m probably just missing something, but can’t seem to figure out what it is.

What happens if you change the last div to a block?

I got it figured out. I was short 1 block around the looped block element. I applied the column view to that and it now showed the content vertically.

Thanks…

Guess I spoke too soon. So as long as the ACS repeater field only has 1 entry, it looks right, if I have more, then it breaks the formatting…

My goal is to have 3 essentially 3 columns as follows…

  1. CPT Post Name
  2. ACS Name and generate a new ‘row’ if there’s a new one.
  3. VDS Name associated with each previous ACS name vertically like the ‘I&O’ one.

If I have multiple ACS ones, it should not start the next ACS entry until all the VDS rows are done, but it appears its not keeping them in the respective columns. I guess I’m just missing something, but I’m not seeing it.

Hi

try this.

On your last Div, set “Flex wrap” to wrap and give this div a width so that only one item fits horizontally.

Cheers

Patric

I got it working finally… Just had the wrong directions I guess on the parent containers…
