Instead of a custom form builder element, forms should be buildable from native Bricks Builder elements. The current implementation is non-intuitive, overly complicated, and limits functionality.
Building forms from native Bricks elements would allow:
- Conditional visibility for form fields
- Repeater fields
- Multi-step forms
I believe it should be a native Bricks function, as forms are an essential feature for any website and this should be achievable without adding a bloated addon.
