Query Loop: CPTs, where logged-in user is author?

Hi community,

A real newbie here, hope you can help.

I’m building a site where chefs can post and edit local recommendations and post food related events - these two are ACF CPT’s called Tips and Events respectively.

For this, I’m trying to build a “My Profile” page, where chefs can log in, to see, post and edit their recommendations and events.

A: For the My Profile, would you do it as a template, or as a page, where conditions set what the logged user sees? (Sorry if this is an insanely dumb question)

B: On the My Profile page, I want to use query loops to show the logged in chef’s Tips and Events.

I’ve been trying to build the query using the query builder, to show the logged in user their own posts, but nothing seems to show up - should the following be possible?

I’m aware of this: Query loop filtering by logged in user - #2 by gdnwebmedia but I keep getting errors (wondering if it’s because of using a CPT)

I’d relish getting your feedback on A, B or maybe even both!

Thanks a lot,
Kristoffer
