Hie,
I want to put a website made with bricksbuilder online. I have build it with Mamp in local. the website already exist and i want to earase the database and keep the wordpress part. Wiich free theme is the best for bricks builder, and how can i mae a such things in order. best regards

You’ve got things mixed up a little… Bricks is the theme and you do need the database.

Here is one of the first things that popped up on how to go live after Building locally

Just don’t follow their recommendation to use blue host, personally I’d recommend something like cloudways. Basically you can use a plugin or do it manually but you need all the files and also the database.

Just Google stuff like “push site live from mamp” and you’ll find thousands of tuts…

Thanks for your quick answer. i talked about database because my actual website is build with elementor and i want to erase all with brickbuilder so i want to clean the database. The only problems is the permalink i want to redirect. thanks

So if I understood correctly…

  1. You have a site built with elementor
  2. You wanna rebuild it in bricks
  3. You wanna clear out all the old elementor stuff basically start with a clean slate

If that’s the case, and your site is currently on a decent hoster, I’d just create a subdomain (ideally just a staging domain if your hosting offers it), create a fresh wp install and start rebuilding your site with bricks. Once you’re done, make a backup of the elementor site just in case, point the main Domain to your new bricks site and lastly delete the old site.

This all doesn’t really have anything to do with neither elementor nor bricks, more kinda WordPress basics. If you want a bunch of answers (some of which will be judgy haha) I recommend checking the WordPress subreddit.
