Public, Free Bricks Component Library

Hey everyone!!

Working on the Memberstack site in Bricks now and I just uploaded a bunch of new components - just wanted to share that, we’re now at 45 components

Whoever uploads their first component will earn a special place in my heart

Also - how could we make BricksBoard something that you can use to market your services/products? That’s our real goal here. Something where the community can contribute, and in turn get free marketing. Whether you have a plugin, you’re a freelancer, or anything else. Any input would be much appreciated!

Uploaded A BUNCH of new components which all match from a new UI Kit we designed

Here’s a link so you can start copying them: InvestKit UI - BricksBoard

Hope this helps someone!!

Feature request - I would love to be able to search for components. The tags help, but it’s hard to beat the ease of search.

Great idea!! Adding that today

Just added search to BricksBoard! Let me know what you think.

I was unable to figure out a good solution for live search on a query loop unfortunately, so it’s not a live search - also, trying to style the ‘no results’ thing but ran into an issue with that - made a post about it, we will see!

I must be missing something. I can copy but, either I am doing something wrong with pasting or it doesn’t paste.

How do I do the pasting part?

Hey Martin!!

Woah, looks like something broke - looking for a fix now, will let you know when done

Hey @Martin1 , thank you for reporting!!

I’ve investigated this and implemented a solution - would you be able to check out this video and let me know what you think about the solution?

TL;DR: Some people were uploading Bricks template JSON instead of just copied page elements - I’ve made it so that you can upload either one and BricksBoard will know whether to copy or download the JSON. I also added popups after you copy/download that explains how to paste it in.

Thank you so much again and please let me know if you have any other feedback

Hey @juliang ,

I gave the copy paste function a go and it works brilliantly :-).

The solution for the json is also a good one. It’s the most logical solution for using json files if people offer them that way.

I just made an account as I have a number of templates I made myself and will add them after checking them thoroughly.

Thanks for the quick video. It made things a whole lot clearer

Hey Martin, that’s awesome!! If you run into any issues while uploading, let me know! There are all sorts of edge cases out there like this last one that I may have missed.

Hey Julian, I got the error message when pasting: “Inserted: Undefined” do you know what could be the reason for this? Json files work great!

Hey Patrik!!

I think the issue is due to not having an SSL certificate - if you get one, copying and pasting should work good too!
