Product Grid max items

This is a pain to ask for as this is a no-brainer in Elementor. I need to show a product grid in the Blog archive sidebar. 2x2 rows/columns. Even though I set to max 4 items per page in query loop it shows all products available. At least in 2 rows but endless columns. Even when I set it to 1 item which shows it correctly in the editor it paints all products on the front page…
How to say that thing to only show max 4 products randomly?

Hey @Mike8040 ,

Had a similiar question answered recently but for the footer, not the sidebar and there it was the following solution. Maybe it helps:

Have you enabled the “disable query merge”-setting in your sidebar-query-looop?

see in the Docs: Query Loop – Bricks Academy

Thanks for the hint. That was it. To be honest the term “Query” is above my head and added “merge” to it, I was like, what does the interface try to tell me here?? But I had that enabled just as a try before posting here and it did nothing which added to my confusion. Turned out the editor was buggy and after refreshing the editor page (F5 - not that bricks button) it was set. Irghs
