Problem finding templates

I previously used Divi and then Elementor to edit my personal website. Elementor was great for finding templates and various add-ons. But after a while, I felt that Elementor became so slow — both in editing mode and for visitors using the site. In the end, I took a break from working on the website altogether.

Now I feel like getting started again, and I’ve been reading up on the development of different tools. Based on reviews and customer feedback, Bricks Builder seems very interesting. I believe my previous experience with Elementor, as well as with HTML and CSS, should be enough to get started and then gradually work more and more on the site over time. So this is more of a hobby project than advanced professional work.

I don’t really have the energy to start completely from scratch — I’d prefer to work from templates and build from there. But one thing I’ve noticed is that it’s hard to find templates. Either there are a few fairly uninspiring templates that come with Bricks Builder, or there are advanced template libraries that require fairly expensive subscriptions. I’d much rather buy a single template than pay for a package that gives access to lots of them. Overall, it also seems like there are relatively few good websites that provide templates.

What are your best recommendations?
