Where is the setting to place any new elements below the header on a new page?
Usually when i create a new page the editor displays the header and when I add a new section then it is added below the header. However recently on some pages only, it has started to add the new element behind the header.
I’m sure there was a setting to control this behavior but can’t find it now.
Yes the header condition is set to entire site.
Not sure if related but also noticed that when the editor opens it takes a while for the Header ( and footer ) to be displayed. Sometimes upto 20 seconds.
Hi @alanj, depending on whether you are using a static or sticky Header, you could alter the space from the top of the page (and therefore have content appear below the (Sticky) Header or above the Footer Templates) by setting the margin in the Theme Style (Global) or Page Settings (Local) as in the images below;
Problem turned out to be that I had not set “Sticky on Scroll” for the header template. I’d only enable “Sticky”.
So when you opened a new page the Add Elements helpers appeared under the lower part of the header and were hidden. ( Found by making the header transparent )
Enabled Sticky on Scroll and the Element helper now shows below the header and is visible on the editor canvas.
