Hello everyone,
This is the first time I have had to create a website-wide search for a customer. So, I need a search field with the template for search results. Unfortunately, although all posts containing the search term were listed in the overview, the term itself was not found in the text displayed on the search results page. The pages containing the term were also displayed, but only the headline and not the text or the part of the page where the search term was found. I switched from Elementor to Bricks Builder a year ago, so I know that this was very easy in Elementor and that the search option on the search results page immediately displayed all posts and pages with their title, text excerpt, and date, including the part of the text containing the search term. In Bricks Builder, only the posts are displayed as desired, but for the pages I only get the page title and the date, nothing else. How can I get the pages with the corresponding text excerpts to be displayed without having to include text excerpts on every page, which I didn’t have to do in Elementor? There, the first part of the first text found on the page was simply used. It would be even better to display the part of the text where the corresponding search term is contained.
Thank you in advance for your help.
