we have noticed an issue with overlays on Safari with iOS 26.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, overlays do not expand to cover the full screen, leaving a visible gap at the top/bottom of the page.
Could you please let us know if this is a known issue and if there is any recommended fix or workaround to make overlays properly display full screen on iOS 26 Safari?
it’s an apple thing. They do this ever since the first iphone where they change the layout to make their UI better visible. Like extra margin for the scrollbar (and on the opposite side for visual appearance.
To maybe fix, look for specific apple css settings. or things that are not edited because their systems doesn’t understand it.
Another apple thing is making stuff clickable. Like a number range as telephone number. They make non-clickable email addresses clickable to open their email app and addresses clickable for their maps’ app.
