NO BUG: WordPress admin bar overlaps builder interface

Browser: Chrome 153.0.8010.50 , Safari 27.0
OS: macOS 27

After updating to Bricks 2.4, the WordPress admin bar overlaps the top of the Bricks builder interface.

Reproduced in both Safari and Chrome on macOS. Moving the new toolbar to the left makes the toolbar accessible, but the admin bar still covers the top portion of the builder.

This started immediately after updating to 2.4.

I could reproduce this locally with BRICKS_DEBUG enabled. Could you check whether define( 'BRICKS_DEBUG', true ); is set in your wp-config.php? If so, does setting it to false and reloading the builder resolve the overlap?

I checked the install. BRICKS_DEBUG is not defined in wp-config.php. The only definition I can find is Bricks’ own fallback in themes/bricks/functions.php, which sets BRICKS_DEBUG to false when it isn’t already defined? The overlap is still occurring.

SCRIPT_DEBUG is not defined either. WP_DEBUG, WP_DEBUG_LOG, and WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY are all set to false.

Thanks for checking, that’s the expected configuration. My local reproduction used a different trigger, so we’ll need to investigate what’s keeping the admin bar visible on your site.

Could you provide temporary WordPress admin access to a staging copy through our private support channel at help@bricksbuilder.io? Please include the affected page URL. Alternatively, on staging, try disabling other plugins and switching from a child theme to the Bricks parent theme to see whether the overlap persists.

Thanks, Thomas. I’ve just sent the staging login details and affected page URL to the Bricks support email.

I was looking at the plugins and saw there was an update just pushed on BricksLabs Bricks Navigator that seems to have resolved the issue. Also disabled the plugin (inherited from vendor) and no overlap issue.
