NO BUG: WooCommerce Thank you page template - Email field in Order Overview

Browser: Microsoft Edge
OS: Windows 11

Hello Bricks!

Here is what I came across…

When I made a test buy, in the Thank You page (which I built the with Bricks Template), There is an Email field in the Order Overview Section

But in Bricks editor, this field does not exist, and there is no option as to which fields we wish to include or not

For me personally it is not that much important for the use of the eshop I am building. So I simply had to manually make it disappear using custom CSS

Of course my problem is not that I had to write CSS. Not at all!
But some other developer/eshop owner might need this. And styling this extra table cell requires some extra custom CSS.

And last, the Customer details are also not visible in the editor, while it shows up in the live thank you page after a completed order!

Is this some kind of bug, or some sort of normal behaviour?

Best regards!

Hi Christos,
Thanks so much for your report!

  1. Email field: for me it shows properly in the builder.

  1. The customer details (billing address) show fine too.

Do you have any plugins (disable all of them, except WooCommerce) or custom code that could affect the output?

Best regards,
timmse

Well, something strange happened!

I just deactivated all plugins, and I had the same result as you (as it should be). Then I activated them one by one, until I got all of them enabled just like before.

And from that point it just remained correct, as if nothing happened in the first place!

Do you have any idea what could be causing this weird behaviour?

Thanks for your support anyway!

No, unfortunately not. Possibly some plugin setting in combination with caching… the main thing is that the problem has disappeared

I understand.

At least everything is fine as you said.

Thank you very much anyway!
