NO BUG: Woocommerce Checkout Blocks not supported anymore

Hi,

I’m using the new WooCommerce Gutenberg checkout blocks on several of my websites due to the improved UI/UX compared to the checkout shortcode. However, I’ve just encountered an error stating that the checkout block is not supported on my website.

I tested this on my staging site, which is still running Bricks 1.11-beta, and the checkout block works fine there.

Has support for the checkout block been intentionally removed in Bricks 1.11?

Thank you!

Hello,

I’ve just tested on my local install and it’s working fine. If you update the staging website to 1.11 (or create another staging one and update), does it work?

Hi Matej,
Thank you for your feedback.

I downgraded Bricks yesterday and updated it again this morning, to test if a plugin is causing the issue. Now everything seems to be working fine – very strange! Apologies for the confusion!

Thanks again!

Hehe, interesting. Well, I’m happy that it works and it’s not a bug.
I’ll mark this topic as a no-bug.

I have not looked at the checkout blocks for a while and just realized that it is not working anymore in Bricks 2.1.2. Any chance to get support back for the WooCommerce Gutenberg checkout blocks?

Hi @simone,

I’ve just tested locally, and I was able to insert the new checkout blocks. Can you try by switching to default theme (Storefront for example). Do you see the same error? If yes, it seems like the block is broken.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Matej

Hi Matej,
Sorry again! I’ve investigated the problem further and found that SumUp is causing the problem.
Thank you very much,
Kind regards,
Simone

Hi @simone,

thank you for confirming. I’m glad you figured it out.

Thanks,
Matej
