NO BUG: WooCommerce Cart Template not displaying on Cart Page

Okay, I know I’m doing something boneheaded here, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it it.

Here’s my Cart Template:

But as you can see, if you add an item to the cart, nothing displays.

Am I supposed to change something in the General Settings?

Do I have to get rid of that shortcode?

What am I missing?

Hi @intcultcom ,

Thanks for the email.
Just replied to you and the shortcode should be added to your Bricks content because the cart page is rendering as Bricks. So the shortcode in WordPress will not be executed.

Jenn

Thanks @itchycode !

So the solution here was simply to remove the shortcode that had been placed in the Gutenberg Editor for Page > Cart.

As soon as I did that, the Cart page worked.

That didn’t work for Checkout for me though.

I deleted the shortcode on the Pages > Checkout and it still wouldn’t work.

To get that working, I went in and add the Checkout shortcode - [woocommerce_checkout] - as a shortcode element in Bricks Builder. Good to go.

Obviously one or the other will work for the rest of the pages too. Hope this thread helps someone else if they get confused here.

Thanks again @itchycode!

I have the same issue with old woo shop

As a temporary solution, you must use cart page, not template if you have a old woo shop. On new shops, all works fine.

There is some serious problem with Bricks and WooCommerce integration. On the cart Page/Template, nor the template way, nor the page builder, nor the shortcode was is working.

WordPress version 6.7
Bricks Builder 1.11.1.1
WooCommerce Version 9.4.1

I was able to resolve the cart issue using these instructions
