NO BUG: Wireframes Templates not Cached

Hey Guys. Just a quick one.

Working with Bricks Wireframes Templates I notice that the Templates are no longer cached, which can make them a bit sluggish to use.

I’m not sure if that is a bug or an intentional change ??

I’m not entirely sure what you mean, or what the difference is supposed to be compared to before. Could you possibly record a screencast showing the before and after?

Actually, I have no idea what occurred. When I wrote this on two sites every time I accesed the Wireframe Templates, I could see a delay as it fetched them before loading. The “Reload” icon was also missing.

Now it appears to be working properly. Delay on first load, fast from cache on subsequent loads.

Maybe I’m going mad :slight_smile:

Actually I spoke too soon. Sorry I was out most of yesterday.

Today I’m seeing the same issue with teh remote template caching being flakey.

Thanks for the video.

It seems like you disabled browser cache, causing the images to be fetched again on a new browser tab. (I can replicate this if I disable cache in my Firefox)
Please verify your browser settings.

OH OK. I did nto even think to check that, I assumed it woudl be cached to the DB not browser storage. I’ll try that when I get a chance.
