NO BUG: Video Loop has black flash at the end

hey,
on my website I want to embed a video as background video (silent in loop). I have tested several variants: Background Video (local, Vimeo and YT) and the Bricks Video Element.
You can see the result here:

The vimeo video background has the path: https://vimeo.com/841258813?autoplay=1&loop=1&muted=1&background=1&controls=0&autopause=0&transparent=1

But with this and all other variants I have a short black flash at the end of the video before the video starts again. The video has no sound and also no “empty” (black) frame at the end. The black flash apears in Safari, Firefox and Crome, all latest Versions (Desktop and mobile).

How can I make this annoying black flash not appear anymore?

Thanks for any help, Kai

A thousand apologies, found the error… and it was with me :frowning:

Contrary to my belief, my video had some black frames at the end. Reason was the setting in Premiere “export whole sequence”. Correct is: “From in to out”. Then the clip is exported without “empty” frames. Strange thing is that these black frames at the end are not shown in Vimeo and Youtube when paused at the end. But I downloaded the files as a test and looked closely in Premiere. There you can see the black frames.

So: No fault of Bricks, Vimeo or Youtube.

Sorry, Kai

Hi Kai,
Glad you found the cause of the problem
