NO BUG: Update failed error when updating to 1.12.3

Updating to 1.12.3 I get this error (tried 2 websites):

Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

How do you update? Do you do it directly from the dashboard (one-click) or upload the theme manually?

The error message suggests that there may be too little free space available. Please also check the system information in the Bricks settings and ensure everything is “green” there.

Alternatively, download the theme from your account and try to install it manually.

Since we have not received any other report on this since the 1.12.3 release three weeks ago, it seems to be an individual problem with your setup.

I am encountering the same problem; I am updating using the WP dashboard. There is plenty of free space but it still fails with the message:

An error occurred while updating Bricks: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Have you tried this?

Everything was green in system information.
However I figured out the problem … the bricks license page reported “License invalid”. Reentering the license key fixed the problem and the upgrade worked after.
