So, like I said in the video, I developed the site in French and now I’m ready to start translating it. So, I installed WPML and started translating the header, footer and a couple of pages… But when I look at the translated pages, I don’t see the header and footer.
If I disable the default templates in settings and change the conditions both in French (default language) and English, then it only shows the heading and not the content at all…
Without being a WPML expert, the first thing I notice watching the video:
The header and footer template types are either missing (footer template), or have an incorrect template type (the header template type is currently single).
Please edit both templates with Gutenberg and choose the correct template type in the upper right. Of course, the header template should be type header, and the footer template type footer.
