NO BUG: Third level product categories - Templates not working

Hi all,

I have set up my template with the following conditions

I want to use my product archive template for all my product categories. This works so far, but only for subcategories on the 2nd level. When I use one on the third level, it does not show the archive page anymore i defined with the template.

Does this require another setup?

2nd Level correct:

I also tried to assign the template directly to the category but it leads to the same result not using a template. only 2nd level product cats are displayed in the right template

Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the problem. What does the first condition do?
Is the template type set to WooCommerce Product Archive or just Archive?

Holy cow… it works…. it was set to Archive.. not Product Archive….
When the bug sits 30cm in front of the screen and is called “User”

thank you! why is it not working with post archives? or is that because of the mismatch between product archive and archive?

That must be it – there’s a reason why there is a specific WooCommerce archive template :white_check_mark:
