I started working on a website project, with the French language selected in the Wordpress settings (my native language).
I also added Bricks templates (including Bricks Woocommerce templates) while still on the French settings, but after a while I decided to change the project to an English only website, so I started changing the pages slugs manually (Please note that I don’t use any translation plugin whatsoever)
The problem is this : changing the template slug don’t update the associated pages slugs.
Here’s an example, you’ve got the Woocommerce Checkout template : https://www.spacedealerz.com/template/order/
(Also, don’t know if it’s a feature or a bug, but changing a not-woocommerce template slug (e.g. Header) and accessing the old one make a redirection to the actual slug…)
Do you have a solution to this ? Or a topic who solved it ? (Didn’t find anybody with the exact same problem for now)
PPS : Sorry, I forgot to add that when I change the language of the project, I actually changed the language in the Wordpress Settings, and also in my Admin User account, just to be sure. It may be obvious to you, but I wanted to make sure to clarify this.
What do you mean by “resaved the permalinks again” ?
Do I need to do something to actually change the slugs, even after updating the template slug itself ?
Thanks for your help, I think a got it solved, but one think is still off :
Permalinks don’t update in the buttons of my minicart, but it worked when looking the website in Chrome private navigation… I cleared the chrome cache thinking it would be the solution, but that’s not the case… Any advice on this ?
that sounds like a caching. How does it behave if you try in another browser?
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this issue locally. Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase? Then we can take a further look into it.
Then it’s probably caching, but yeah, feel free to send the page URL and login info, then I can take a look from my browser also.
Also, just to make sure, please describe the steps you take to reproduce the error in Chrome, so I will be able to replicate them.
