NO BUG: Store Locator plugin not working on mobile only - fine on Desktop

SOLVED Was a css issue

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: Android and Iphone
URL: Dev site so not available
Bricks Version: 1.9.8

I am using Store Locator plugin
Wordpress depository …/plugins/wp-store-locator/

It works fine on Desktop and tablet but has an issue on mobile (phone only).
It is fine on desktop with browser at mobile width.

Issue is two of the fields are missing content.
Screenshot shows what it should look like on mobile phone (screenshot is from desktop at mobile width) and below it what it actually looks like on mobile phone

I changed theme to Twenty Twenty-Three theme and it works as it should so the issue is definitely with Bricks.

I also tried adding the shortcode to gutenberg and same issue.

I have talked to the plugin support and this is what they say. They suggested I check with Bricks support.

"
it happens because, somehow, the HTML output of the dropdowns is different to what is expected, but I really don’t know why this is happening.

This is what the HTML output of the area that prints the dropdowns should look like. Notice the element that does contain the selected value:

So let me ask you, are you using by chance a custom template?

Any help or advice appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Paul,
Welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, I cannot replicate the issue (tested on multiple devices). Have you already deactivated all other plugins? Probably one of them is causing the problem…

A live link would also be helpful; then, I could at least examine the styles.

Best regards,
timmse

Thanks Timmse
I have tried lots of things.
I deactivated every plugin except WP storelocator and SSL
I went through Bricks setting to see if something is wrong there.
I set up a blank template with just the shortcode in it.
I removed all the custom css I have with the plugin.
and other things but nothing fixed it.

It appears the is not being generated (as shown in the screenshot).

The reason I did not add url is it is in dev but it is:
REMOVED

Thanks so much for your time.

Paul

Hi Again
I have just added the plugin to another test site and works as expected so must just be this instance.
I will try setting up from backup on another dev site and see if that helps.
Paul

Hi Timmse
SOLVED
There was some css buried deep in Appearance>theme file editor that caused the issue.
Once again sorry for the hassle and a big thank you for your help.
