NO BUG: Slider not sliding

Hi, I have the top three mobile mockups set to auto-slide, but it’s not auto-sliding it seems: https://emagazines.tempurl.host

You can click and drag and see how they slide through.

These are my settings:

What am I missing here?

Aces,

From what I can see on the screenshot there are two errors:

  1. Left column “Items to show”, means how many slides should show on the screen at one time… I’m assuming based by your structure panel that you want to show one mobile photo, and then slide to the next? That means you want to show 1 at a time, and rotate/slide between the two of them.
  2. Right column, “Slide 1”, I only see one slide… and that one slide contains two different images… Again if you want to slide between the two mobile phones, your structure should follow:
    Slider > Slide 1 > Image
                > Slide 2 > Image

For a better visual reference, click on Slider as you have in the screen shot, and in the content tab, towards the top, you can add another slide item, and see how it modifies the structure…

Hi Ace,
Thanks so much for your report!

When reporting a potential bug, please always make sure to mention the version and the browser - we ask for this for a reason  So it would be great if you could add this information to your post.

Now about your problem: The slides are auto-sliding wonderfully

Best regards,
timmse

Thanks @timmse ! Looks great on your end! Glad I’ve got right - just need to adjust the timing, and wish I could see the results.

I’ve tried it on Vivaldi (my standard browser), on a clean Chrome and Edge (standard settings), and it doesn’t auto-slide. Using Windows. I’ll have to ask my client & designer if they can see it animate on their end.

You know what - just for kicks I tried on Tor browser, and it works perfect!

I wonder if the default security settings on the browsers block a script? I have no idea - Chrome was a fresh install.

Hey Ace,
Thanks for getting back.

If the default security settings of the browser (especially in the major browsers like Chrome or Firefox) would block the slider, we would surely have much more reports about it

I’ll be happy to test it on my Windows machine again tonight, but I assume the slider will also work there. I’ll get back to you later!

Best regards,
timmse

Hi, consider this closed, because my client can see the slider animating on his end. Just to keep the tickets slim
